Barb ##STADE## - coat 76
The Barb may well be one of the oldest horse breeds in the world. Some scientists suggest that it appeared back in the Ice Age. Sometimes considered to be inelegant, it is a fast and resilient horse that has been used in armies as a warhorse on numerous occasions.

It can measure up to nearly 63'' for 1,213 lbs. Its coat is sorrel, bay, gray or seal brown. It has a calm and courageous nature.

Outside of war, it is a very easy to train horse that is good for trekking, and it can often be seen as a mount as part of leisure horse riding activities.
